I sketched out concepts for a 2D video game. The game would feature various stick figures fighting in a comical style.

Today I started to make a sphere with shading and shadows.

Black Fade to White

Using different brush sizes and opacity's I made a gradient effect by blending solid colors together.

Today I made three different background using tutorials. I'm pleased with the outcome of all three.

I took an image of a walking sequence and animated it in Photoshop.

Zebra Rhino

Today I worked on making the Zebra's legs fit the Rhinos.

Google Doodle Sketches

I took three ideas from before and made more detailed sketches of them. I have a machine that records/views dreams, a machine that translates audio, and portals.

I sketched out six ideas for the Google Doodle contest. The subject was "If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place...".

Zebra Rhino

I finished cutting out the zebra and have begun to use the liquify tool to make it in the shape of a rhino. This is a bit hard for me to do because of all the stretching of the pixels. It can look very distorted.

Select Tools

Today I took the sky out of a picture. To do this I used a mixture of the Laso Tool and the Eraser. I used the Laso for bigger selections and used the Eraser to make close-up changes. I found the crown to be the hardest part. I also began the Zebra today.

Reason for Class

I am looking forward to this class because I wish to pursue a career in digital art in the future. I took a graphic design class last year at my other school and did well. I hope to learn more and get better. The image below is something I did during my free time in my previous class.
